The Aero contractors MRO approval | saves 48 million USD


Aero Contractors the oldest Nigerian airline has received approval from NCAA, Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority to undertake its Boeing 737 aircraft’s maintenance at its terminal from September 2017.

This approval to MRO, Maintenance Repair and Overhaul made country’s airline to fasten its aviation business effectively.

The current hanger of Aero contractors can handle various air crafts including,
  • Boeing 737-300
  • Boeing 737-400
  • Boeing 737-500

According to daily trust reports, Aero contractors are spending almost 2 million U.S dollars for Boeing 737 aircraft maintenance checks for every 18 months.

After this MRO approval, the country can save 48 million U.S dollars as the country almost own 24 Boeing 737 air crafts.

Capt. Ado Sanusi, Chief Executive Officer of Aero Contractors said that this MRO approval is a new milestone in Nigeria’s Aviation industry and Aero Contractors as well.
