KC 46 A Pegasus is an aerial refuelling and transport aircraft manufactured on the bone of Boeing 767.
After many political issues, it is finally accepted by U.S air force. The first batch of eighteen aircrafts would be delivered to U.S air force in the year 2018.
Now Boeing has received a new contract from Japan for one KC 46 A Pegasus worth nearly 288 million dollars.
Various nations including Japan and Israel are examining the refuelling aircraft in order to create new purchase orders.
It is also believed that Japan has to acquire four new KC 46 A Pegasus aircrafts for its defence unit.
Its seating capacity is 114 passengers and fuel capacity is 96,297 kg.
Boeing already informed the deliverables of KC 46 A Pegasus, which comes with GPS tracking, Radar Warning Receiver, Miniaturized Airborne GPS Receiver and etc.,
Boeing also received approval from U.S Defense Security Cooperation for its refuelling aircrafts sale.
