Nigeria’s struggle over the aircraft maintenance gets a smaller relief by the approval of new C-check maintenance for Nigeria’s domestic aircrafts.
This approval is given by NCAA, Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority which is the highest aviation authority of the country.
Aero-contractors Airlines is the company, which has applied for this C-Check aircraft maintenance and got approval by NCAA, Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority.
This will help the domestic aviation industry a lot by saving huge cost and time in offshore aircraft maintenance.
Aero contractors Airlines received this C-check maintenance to do maintenance checks for the below aircrafts in AMO, Aircraft Maintenance Organisation workshop in Ikeja, Lagos for the following aircrafts,
- Boeing 737-300 aircrafts
- Boeing 737-400 aircrafts
- Boeing 737-500 aircrafts
- Boeing 737-600 aircrafts
- Boeing 737-700 aircrafts
- Boeing 737-800 aircrafts
This complete maintenance C-Check was the first approval by NCAA, given to any company in Nigeria.
