Inmarsat, the satellite telecommunications company has said that inflight Wi-Fi demand has been grown rapidly across all countries.
In particular, the Asia Pacific regions has got more demand than rest of the regions.
According to recent research survey conducted by Inmarsat and Gfk (market research company), from 9000 flight passengers across 18 countries states the below points,
- All the flight passengers were taken their flights last year for the purpose of business and leisure activities.
- Among two-third of the people are from Asia Pacific regions like China, India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.
- Sixty-seven percent of people say that Wi-Fi is more important rather than luxury amnesties.
- Passengers have chosen their flights by prioritizing Inflight Wi-Fi rather than in-flight entertainment.
In growing aviation industry, passengers demand more for in-flight Wi-Fi options. Thus the onboard Wi-Fi provision and maintenance of these Wi-Fi services in aircraft makes the airlines to sell more tickets.
